| How did you QUIT smoking??? | | I Quit about a year ago! I had smoked for about 14 yrs., through both of my first two pregnancies, and then I got pregnant last November and decided that I wanted to quit. I wanted to go get "hypnotised " to quit but didn't want to pay the $300.00-$500.00 it cost, so I got on ebay and ordered a "self-hypnosis" cd (about $5.00 WITH s+h!!) I listened to it for about a week and haven't smoked since!!! I tried and I could not physically MAKE my body inhale!!! How did you all do it?? | |
| | I need positive self esteem! | | Have looked through your hypnosis CD listings - I need one for boosting my self esteem - I really do deep down have a very low opinion of myself and this is derived from my childhood and other life events. | | Have you heard about sites for self hypnosis CD's? | | I keep seeing ads and email flyers for stopping smoking and other hypnosis recordings. They even have them in downloadable MP3's! What do you make of this cheap and supposedly effective method of reprogramming the brain? has anyone here tried one of these cd's or recordings. Did you have a positive or negative experience? | |

| Any one else been hypnotised successfully? | | I was hypnotised in june 2004 to stop smoking, I am happy to report I haven't smoked yet! Although I have to admit at first I used to dream that I still smoked and when i awoke I had to think for a few seconds whether I smoked or not! You can be hypnotised for all sorts of reasons ie Phobias, Lack of confidence, shyness etc. I'm even trying to lose weight now with a hypnosis CD.
Has anyone else have been hypnotised succesfully and are willing to share their story please? | |

| Hypnotized | | Have any of you ever been hypnotized? I am currently reading a book and doing a program with Paul McKenna. It is called "I Can Make You Thin." This book included a hypnosis cd. I listen to it each night but I'm pretty sure I'm falling asleep before I can even be hypnotized. So I'm wondering - have any of you ever been hypnotized before? What does it feel like? How can I know I'm actually hypnotized and in that state rather than sleeping? | |
